The Independent Photography Festival is back for its 6th instalment, returning to London’s House of Vans for a 3-week exhibition in May. The award was founded in Melbourne in 2012, with the aim of encouraging, nurturing and celebrating independent photographers across the globe.

The exhibition will be open from Thursdays to Sundays, with free entry to the public. Those visiting the event will have the opportunity to take part in a T-shirt customisation workshops on the 6th, 13th, and 20th of May. There will also be film screenings based around the subject of photography throughout the month.

Entrants have until the 24th April to submit their entries, with the winners announced on May 28th. The exhibition will be open to the public in the meantime, opening on 4th May through to the 27th. Full details about submissions can be found here.
