Nestled away in a side road in Hackney is a beauty secret. Glasshouse Salon is the organic answer for your tresses and now your nails. At the beginning of this year, the salon showed off the breadth of its vision by pairing up with accessories designer, Ally Capellino. This month, Glasshouse collaborates with session manicurist Sabrina Gayle for a brand new beauty service, and photographer Agnes-Lloyd Platt in a series of still life beauty images. The photographs recruit the palette from the Kure Bazaar nail lacquer brand, and altogether the visual offering speaks fluidly of Glasshouse’s philosophy.
Organic rests at the core of Glasshouse Salon. Founder, Olivia Crighton, puts solicitude and style at the forefront of her creative collaborations and projects. So, it is no wonder she has put her faith in the talents of Agnes, who’s worked with Hunger and AnOther, and Sabrina who has a fine art background, which she translates into her manicures.
Take a look at the still-life series below, and envelop yourself in the Glasshouse universe.
The manicure service is available at the salon every Saturday.
