In collaboration with UK based fashion photographer and videographer Alasdair McLellan, The xx have released a new zine, titled ‘It Could Be Love’. This is not the first time the band have dropped a visual diary of their life and works. In 2012, they teamed up with Urban Outfitters to create a 40-page magazine called ‘And We’ll Be, Us,’ featuring handwritten lyrics as a statement design element. McLellan has collaborated with the band in the past on their music videos ‘Say Something Loving’ and ‘On Hold’.

Besides the new photographic zine, the group is going to set up another Day + Night music festival in July, which will take place in Iceland. As well as The xx and Jamie xx, the festival will feature artists such as Robyn, Earl Sweatshirt, Sampha, Warpaint and Floating Points.

It Could Be Love is available now at London’s Idea Books, or online here.
