The fashion pack were out in full force on Monday, kicking the week off with a bang in the form of the annual British Fashion Awards. The 2015 nominees were of course nothing short of exceptional, a dizzying mix of household icons and under-the-radar names. It therefore comes as no surprise that the winners list is a pool of incredible talent that contributes to the fashion industry, which is growing in momentum year upon year.

Winners weren’t restricted to the confines of the British Isles either: while most were British, Alessandro Michele, Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld and Erdem all snapped up awards. And while Mary Katrantzou – who won best ‘New Establishment Designer’ – also falls into the international winners category, this status won’t last much longer, as she has just announced her decision to apply for full UK citizenship, which will confirm her position as one of the British fashion industry’s most valuable members.

The winning list reads like a who’s who of names you need to know, which you can check below.
