What do you get if you turn Polaroid over? No, not an empty white space but DIORALOP. The brand, based in Zagreb Croatia, is inspired by the chemical spills and exposure of Polaroid images to different temperatures; creating clothing in various textures and splashed with many colours or digitally printed patterns. For founders Central Saint Martins graduate Andreja and architect designer Maja, each season is not just about creating a collection but much like their name, it is about creating a story.
SS15 is no different, and with the release of their campaign, the story comes to life. Bodies intertwine against concrete backdrops; mirroring the shape and structure of the clothes. Images are layered to reflect various inspirations. And models are positioned strictly and symmetrically, highlighted the simple yet strong form of the designs. With a broadcast of sunny spells, the SS15 campaign shows DIORALOP in the best light best possible.
