The 36-year-old DJ and Off-white founder, seems to be unstoppable by the looks of his recent activities this past month. If you thought him working with Guns N’ Roses and A$AP Mob wasn’t enough, he’s now gone on to cooking up a new collection with Nike, titled ‘The Ten’. Although this collab may have been predictable, NOTHING could’ve possibly prepped us for what the two creative geniuses had in store.

“The Ten,” is a special edition collection of throwback styles (all Nike but one), re-construed into the vision of Abloh. Classics included in the collection are: Nike Air Force 1’s, Air Presto’s, Air Jordan’s, Hyperdunk’s, Air Max 90/97’s, Zoom Vaporfly’s, Air VaporMax’s, Nike Blazer’s, and the classic Converse Chuck Taylor’s.

We’ve bared witness to Abloh’s innovativeness in the past, with his one-time-only triple Black Air Force 1 samples, and his collab with the son of the original 1982 Air Force 1 designer, Matt Kilgore, @ Nike’s Blue Ribbon Studios, so we more or less know what to expect from this glorious creative – genius end products!

“What we’re talking about here is larger than sneakers, it’s larger than design culture”, says Abloh in a Nike interview. “It’s nothing short of state-of-the-art design. These 10 shoes have broken barriers in performance and style. To me, they are on the same level as a sculpture of David or the Mona Lisa. You can debate it all you want, but they mean something…And that’s what’s important”.
