How as a brand do you ensure that your annual Christmas advert is the best around? H&M have fallen upon a winning formula: bag one of the world’s most creative, idolised directors, and an academy award winning actor to boot, follow up with an adorable message of Christmas spirit and community of course, and bam, you’ve got everyone talking.

Thats right, Wes Anderson has created a four minute long clip for H&M with a little help from friend Adrien Brody, and its every bit as good as you’d expect it to be. Grand Budapest Hotel goodness comes along with the pastel colour scheme and fluid shots adds his unique flair to the sentimental advert, scoring it high above any John Lewis tear jerker. Proof that anything Anderson is automatically interesting.
