Rapper Lupe Fiasco has announced the release of his sixth studio album Drogas Light under his own record label, 1st & 15th/Thirty Tigers. It’s set to be the first of a trilogy of albums – Drogas Light, Drogas and Skulls – and will be available from 10th February 2017, capturing the artist’s life and growth throughout the years.

The 14-track LP features artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross and BIG K.R.I.T, providing us with every style of music, from upbeat tracks for a big night out, to more quiet songs to listen to with headphones on a chilled Sunday afternoon. Tracks ‘Pick Up the Phone’, ‘Wild Child’ and ‘Made In the U.S.A’ have already been released and give a good insight into what is yet to come.

There’s no question that Drogas Light is set to open new doors within Lupe’s career that started back in 2006 with his debut album Food and Liquor. After being nominated for 12 Grammys and winning a Grammy in 2008, we can’t wait to see how this new project evolves.
