Rebecca has worked in the fashion and entertainment industry for 6 years.She began work as a professional Make Up Artist, which developed into a commercial modeling career. Not intellectually satisfied with being in front of the camera she decided to take a step behind the scenes and launched Wonderland Studios which acted as an agency for creative’s, as well as conducting and directing shoots at the studio premises for various clients including Browns, Harsh Magazine and Anglomania Magazine. In 2009 Rebecca met Stylist Jessica Duffin and introduced the idea of starting her own magazine, which they later launched together in February 2010. Rebecca continues to head IDOL Magazine and is also currently working towards a degree in Law.

 

BIANCA SPADA

Born and raised in Madrid, Spain. At 18, Bianca decided to move to Switzerland where she started to study International Business but soon transferred to London to study political science. Bored of trying unsuccessfully to save the world, she turned her attentions to creative publishing. And after several work experiences in different fields and companies, Bianca finally found her call with IDOL and she hasn’t looked back since.


SIMONE LA ROSE

Simone La-Rose has worked as the fashion stylist at the Browns store in London for the past 10 years, during this time she has worked very closely with the owner Joan Burstein (known in the industry as Mrs. B) who is the main mover and shaker for the UK fashion industry. In January Editor in Chef – Rebecca Moore asked Simone to come on board as the fashion editor of IDOL. Simone knew of Rebecca’s
creative talent and her determination, she did not even hesitate and screamed YES PLEASE!

 

GABRIELLE STIVAL

Gabrielle Stival was born in Canada and spent 12 years in France. Gabrielle moved to London in 2009 for her 3rd year of Law studies. Even if she successfully completed a Bachelor Degree with merit, she decided to focus on what she really wanted to do and enrolled in a Fashion Styling class in Central Saint Martins. This extremely positive experience allowed her to understand that the path she wanted to follow was creative. Straight after the end of the course, she was contacted by several stylists and worked as an assistant before styling her own projects. She contributed to shoots for magazines such as Push It, Wolf and J'N'C and acted as a trend reporter during LFW SS10 and AW11.Her motivation and hard work allowed her to meet fabulous people and awarded her with experiences at Georgina Goodman, METAL Magazine and IDOL.

 

RYAN DAVIS

A native New Yorker, Ryan Davis has long been honing his fashion savvy. From forecasting trends, assisting on celebrity covers and fashion shoots for Out Magazine, to creating vivid and compelling visuals in his own work, Ryan has continually had his finger on the pulse of fashion. He currently serves as the Contributing Men's Editor to IDOL Magazine and is the chief writer of What He Wears, a menswear and lifestyle blog. Ryan continues to style in editorials including European magazines such as CLIENT and INDIE. In addition to styling fashion editorials, he has worked for e-commerce giants like Gilt Groupe and Polo Ralph Lauren.



LUCY MORRIS

A born and bred East Londoner, Lucy Morris at a young age set her heart on a career in Journalism. From editing University magazines, to writing for The Times, her passion has never faltered. After meeting the IDOL team back in '10 she had a brief foray into Art and Culture Journalism, but landed in Fashion where here her ability to recall obscure fashion facts proved useful (for once).​

Holly has worked in the music industry for the last seven years, as a singer and songwriter. She has sung for and written with multi-Grammy winning producers on her own material, and is always on the look out for new talent in the music world. Whilst working on her music career, Holly graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in social anthropology. Prior to becoming music editor for IDOL she was project-managing special interest reports in The Times newspaper.

Born in South Africa, Emma has now been living in the UK for nearly 15 years. With a long time interest in both fashion and film Emma has collected enough magazines to form them into some very sturdy furniture. Having studied Journalism at Cardiff, and having graduated she didn’t know where to go next. Having applied everywhere and anywhere - and ending up as an intern at a children’s newspaper, until finding IDOL last October, Emma has learnt along the way, loving every moment. Trying to put her geeky interest to good use, she has developed the film section to promote all the best emerging talent.

Having had a strong interest in reading from a very young age, Kerina always suspected following a path related to her passion. Now in her 2nd year of university, Kerina studies Magazine Publishing at London College of Communication. With a phobia of faux grammar, she treats it like a nun to her religion. With a job where being critical is key, IDOL fits like a glove.

Nariné studied fashion for four years at university, alongside working in one of London's most prestigious department stores. She had a love for fashion from a young age, where a wardrobe or three was never enough to hold her wide rang of clothes, shoes and handbags. After graduating Nariné worked her way into the hands of the IDOL team. From here on she knew she had found her fortay. Nariné now works for IDOL Magazine, being based in London, but whilst in NYC.
